Welcome to the new Diversey blog.
As we have introduced stakeholders to the Diversey brand over the past year, we’ve begun to reach out through new channels of communication to explain who we are and what we do for the world. In particular, we’ve shared our insights in the areas of sustainability, integrated cleaning, and hygiene solutions and innovation.
We want to enhance this conversation with our stakeholders. We believe this medium can enable our collaboration with anyone who’s interested in a cleaner, healthier future.
We have a few simple goals for this venue of communication:
• Remain connected with customers and other stakeholders who are interested in effective sustainability management and enhancing quality of life through cleaning for health and the environment;
• Provide useful information through customer profiles, learning and insight, research, news and events; and
• Share our story—what we’re accomplishing through customer partnerships, NGO relationships and new-to-the world innovation.
A Compelling Purpose
Our purpose at Diversey is to protect lives, preserve the earth, and transform our industry. The work we do every day furthers this purpose as we operate our company and deliver cleaning and hygiene solutions that improve our customers’ operations while reducing waste and use of water and energy.
We’ve committed to reducing carbon emissions in our own operations by 25 percent by 2013 as a member of the World Wildlife Fund Climate Savers program. Our entire global headquarters campus is LEED–EB certified, and we’re global leaders in water conservation. You’ll hear more about these and many other efforts across our global business in coming posts.
I had the opportunity to share more about our work in sustainability in a conversation last year with GreenBiz.com. You’re welcome to take a look at that article here for a broader summary of how Diversey is making a difference.
This blog is simply another venue for us to share our experiences and learning, motivate others to create a better world and learn from your ideas. Please subscribe today and let us know what you think and what you’d like to see us talk about.
